Happy Birthday VHS!
Aww, do you remember the times when we recorded our favourite TV shows on these huge, black cassettes called VHS? In 2000, they were replaced by DVDs and nowadays there is the cloud and online streaming. But in order to celebrate 40 years since the first functional
prototype VHS player was created, YouTube has introduced the “tape mode” to
give modern online videos that typical scratchy VHS look.
