NEWS: Reveille and AMC develop web series

More and more of the big TV production companies find it interesting to develop web series in order to try out innovative topics or new ways of storytelling.

For example, Reveille the production company that produces hit shows like The Office and MasterChef  will develop a bunch of comedy focused web series for online video site: http://www.breakmedia.com/
Reveille's digital output already covers topics such as pop culture, fashion and sports, and include shows such as Who Knew?, Fit to Boom and Real-Life Makeover.

Furthermore, US cablenet AMC has launched a digital platform to develop and showcase web series from up-and-coming writers and directors. The first web series will be The Trivial Pursuits of Arthur Banks. It's about a successful theatre director who stages an elaborate play that mirrors his dysfunctional love life. The free-to-view show will be released simultaneously on amctv.com and VoD platform Hulu on August 22.
Will you watch it on Monday?
